There has been issued many by the Punjab Govt. I am here mentioning some of these Notifications with some details.
Clarification Regarding Appointment on Contract Basis under Rule 17-A
Notification NO.SOR (III) (S&GAD)2-10/2006 dated 26-01-2008 has been issued regarding amendment in Rule 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointments and Conditions of Service) Rules 1974-Clarification Regarding Appointment on Contract Basis.
It is stated in this Notification that job against the posts from BPS-01 to BPS-05 and Junior Clerk BPS-07 can be provided to a child or widow/wife of a Government servant who dies while in service or is declared invalidated/incapacitated for further service, on contract basis under contract appointment policy.
Clarification Regarding Benefits Admissible under Rule 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointments and Conditions of Service) Rules 1974 Whether the Child is Married or Not
SOR (III) (S&GAD)2-10/2007-P dated 6-07-2010 has also been issued by the Finance Department Punjab regarding Clarification Regarding Benefits Admissible under Rule 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants.
It is clarified in this Notification that the benefit of 10 additional marks or provision of job in terms of Rule 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants, shall be available irrespective of the fact whether the child is married or not.
Clarification Regarding conversion of Contract Appointment into Regular Appointment
Notification No. SOR (III) (S&GAD)2-42/2007 dated 07-05-2010 has issued regarding Clarification Regarding Appointment on Contract Basis or Regular Basis.
It is clarified in this Notification that under no circumstances the Contract Employee can request for conversion of his contract appointment into regular appointment.
