Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Housing & Works has issued Notification No. F.4(8)/92-Policy dated 01-10-2014 in connection with Revision of Rental Ceiling for Hiring of Residential Accommodation 2014 at Six Specified Stations.
The Federal Govt is pleased to enhance rental ceiling for hiring of residential accommodation in Federal Ministries/Divisions/Attached Departments/Subordinates Offices in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and Karachi.

Not house rent allowance, actually house rent ceiling 2017 summary which is pending in PM house since last so many weeks
Ms. Shumail, Have you any information regarding the increase in house rent allowance summary 2017 and do you known when it will be implemented? either October 2017 or January 2018.
Accommodation Allocation Rules 2002 study kre sb. Very informative it is and basically. I want to ask that is rental ceiling of both Islamabad and Rawalpindi same or Rawalpindi is treated in other cities.

A.A, My name is Khurram Ilyas and I am serving as Clerk in Pakistan Post Office department since May, 2003. I am not getting facility of Self House Requisition Allowance. I have applied for the same on June, 2003. A number of my juniors are availing the same facility. In order to get the said facility, I have filed an appeal before honourable FST Lahore. Please provide me some judgement of Supreme Court of Pakistan in this regard for placing before FST as reliance and oblige. My Cell No. 0300-4092472.
Primer Minister se appeal hai ke apna wada pora karen aur renatal ceiling jis ka increase karny ka kaha tha wo kar den, aap ne upcoming budget kaha that ab tu us ke bad ka budget bi guzar raha hai.

It is applicable only on federal govt employees.

Dear Nadeem, it is only for the Federal Govt Employees of 6 secretariat cities.
This revised rental ceiling is only applicable to federal govt employees posted in six specified stations.i.e. Islamabad,Rawalpindi,Karachi,Lahore,Islamabad,Peshawar.

Detail of Existing Entitlements – Financial and Fringe Benefits of BPS-17 like;
(a) Pay & Allowance,
(b) Mode of Travel/ authorization while on Tem Duty,TA/DA,
(c) Telephone(Off/Res)and its authorized monthly expenses,
(d) Transport, office amenities,
(e) Scale/Category & Allotment of Govt accommodation exclufing Islamabad/Rawalpindi i.e other cities (esp at Subordinate Offices
where facility of Hiring Houses is not available /Sufficient number of Govt Accommodation is available),
(f) Officers Mess/Club membership, etc,
(g)Signing authority/status,
(h) Outdoor/indoor medical treatment /entitlement of
Check up/detention at Govt Hospitals/institutes
in case of admission or othere Public sector medical facilities duly placed on the Panel of Federal Govt Deptt/Subordinate Offices,
AND any other benefit/incentive. This may also be considered a proposal for Govt to issue all in one package for BPS-17 Federal Govt Servant.
