Request for Upgradation of the Post of Accountant from BPS-14 to BPS-16 in FGEI has been submitted to the Ministry of Defence by FGEI (C/G) Directorate vide letter No. 0409/29/77-FGEI (NTS) dated 17-12-2014.
The Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Regulation Wing) vide its O.M No. F.9(1)R-I/2014-330 dated 08-09-2014 has upgraded the posts of Accountants working under Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad from BPS-14 to BPS-16 with effect from 8th September 2014.
It is worth mentioning that Federal Govt Educational Institutions(C/G) and Federal Directorate of Education, Isalamabad are sister organizations and following the same rules and regulations. Accountants in both the organizations are employed in Federal Govt Schools/Colleges.
Foregoing in view, it is strongly recommended that the case may be taken up with concerned authorities for upgradation of the post of accountant from BPS-14 to BPS-16 with effect from 01-07-2014 for removal of anomaly/discrimination so that all the employees would have equal benefits and their grievances me be redressel.
