Government of the Sindh, Finance Department has issued Notification No. UO No. FD(SR-I)I(S2)/2010 dated 28-12-2015 in connection with clarification of Grant of Time Scale to PSTs in All Sindh.

According to this Notification, I am directed to refer to your letter No. DAG-Edu/2015-16/Vol-II/675 dated 10-11-2015 on the subject noted and it is clarified that the position of time scale of Primary School Teachers BPS-07 & BPS-09 may be considered as under:

Those PSTs who were initially recruited in BPS-07 are entitled to the time scale as per this Department circular No. FD(SR-I) I ((52) 2010 dated 07-06-2010.

However those PSTs who were initially appointed in BPS-09 are entitled to the time scale of BPS-16 after 25 years length of service in accordance with this Department circular No. FD(SR-I) I ((52) 2010 dated 21-07-2010.

It is further clarified that the length of service for the purpose of time scale will be counted from the date of coming into BPS-09 after having been initially recruited in BPS-07, and therefore allowed BPS-09 in the light of Finance Department Circular No. FD(SR-IV) I-104/91 dated 25-04-1992.
