Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department has issued Notification No. SO(ND)2-26/2017 dated 26-01-2017 in connection with Monthly Nursing Professional Allowance to Nurses.
According to this Notification, Governor of the Punjab is pleased to accord sanction/grant for monthly Nursing Professional Allowance to Nurses (Charge Nurses, Head Nurses) working in SHC & ME Department at the following rates:
| Allowance | Rate | Date of Effectiveness |
| Nursing Professional Allowance | Rs. 4000/- per month | 01-01-2017 |
| Nursing Professional Allowance | Rs. 9000/- per month | 01-07-2017 |
