Government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department (Regulation Wing) has issued letter on 11-10-2017 to The Accountant General KPK Peshawar in connection with Fixation of Pay on Promotion KPK. Detail is as under:
I am directed to refer to you office letter No H-24(77)/Dir Lower/Vol-Vl/2016/-2017/203 dated 25-04-2017 on the subject noted above and to state that opinion of your office contained Para-3 of the referred letter is hereby confirmed as the 03 years condition had already been relaxed by this Department vide letter No. FD (PRC)1-2/86/Vol-lll dated 19-04-1988 (copy enclosed). Please.

Whether the salary on promotion will be fixed from the date of notification of promotion or from the date of assuming charge of the new post?
If on promotion, in the month of June, the salary is fixed in next grade with one premature increment then whether the employee will get/avail routine annual increment in december of same calendar year?
Pay is fixed as per the date of assuming charge of the new post. If a promotion on 2nd June or later then he/she can use option.
