Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued its decision on 08-01-2018 in connection with Assistance Package 2014 for Family of the Employees Who Died Between 15-06-2013 to 08-02-2015. Detail is as under:
Elar Afzal Khan J:- These petitions for leave to appeal have arisen out of the order dated 9.2.2017 of a Division Bench of the Islamabad High Court whereby it dismissed the intra court Appeals filed by the petitioners and maintained the judgment dated 31.5.2016 of the learned Single Judge-in-Chambers of the Islamabad High Court.
The learned DAG appearing on behalf of the petitioners contended that once the package notified on 20.10.2014 was held in abeyance, respondents could not have been given any benefit thereunder and that neither the learned Single Judge of a Division Bench of the High Court appreciated the true import of the notification issued this behalf.
We have carefully gone through the record and considered the submissions of the learned DAG appearing on behalf of the petitioners.
The record reveals that the package in this case was notified on 20.10.2014 and gives effect from 15.06.2013 while the death of the husband of respondent No. 1 in CP. 1267 of 2017 took place on 18.7.2014 and that of respondent No. 1 in CP. 1161 of 2017 took place on 24.11. 2014. The package dated 20.10.2014 clearly and squarely covered the case of the respondents in the aforesaid petitions. Subsequent package notified on 4.12.2015 and give effect from 9.2.20154 will not affect the case of the respondents which having been set at rest before the target fate is post and closed on all accounts. The view taken by the High Court in the circumstances appears to be correct. We thus don`t feel persuaded to interfere therewith.
For the reasons discussed above, these petition being without merit are dismissed and the leave asked for is refused.

Mam I want to know that Is appeal filed in supreme Court against decision of Division Bench (DB) in the matter of 20 percent special allowance to attached departments?.
My brother in law was serving Punjab Police and he died in service during February,2018.His family was compensated with the old assistance package.I would like to know is his family entitiled to get benefits as laid down in new package in the light of Supreme court judgement.If familiy is entiltled the how they should proceed to get the benefits.

Aoa, My name is Mehtab Shahid Khurshid. My father died on 9th November 2013. I got benefits according to old package. Are we eligible for the new assistance package benefits? if we are then how can i claim? And second thing i am appointed as stenotypist bps 14 on 27th may 2014 on F.Sc base. Now i have done BS Computer Science can i claim some other post according to my qualification? also my contract is renewed every 2 years why it is not 5 years or why i am not getting regularized?

sir one thing plz tell me i applied for UDC under 2006 pkg and appointed as LDC on 2 years contract basis as the rule of 2006 pkg i resigned from this contract appointment last year on DEC 2017 now if this pkg will be implemented after the court decision and in this said pkg it is clearly mentioned that appoint person on regular basis and according to his education so plz give me legal advice as i am doing BSC from arid uni and next year i become graduate so what is the current scenerio shall i again appoint on ASST post according to my education??PLZ GIVE ME LEGAL ADVICE IN THIS MATTER I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO U SIR. Mery walid sahab ki death feb 2008 mai hoi thi or mery office walon ny muje 2015 mai nokri pe raha pochna yeh tha ky mery uper 2006 wala Assistance Package Apply hoga ya 2014 wala ???
your can’t apply because you have resigned…
but one of your any other family member including your brothers can… if department refuse … then they can file suite and ask for appointment because your other family members cant be deprived of the benefit of assistance package.

Sir my father died on 26-10-2013 he was in Pakistan Military Accounts Deptt we receive Asst. Package 2006. According to IHC decision on 17-10-2017 it has allowed PM Asst Package 2014 to Federal Govt Effective from 15-06-2013 to 08-02-2015.

If your father was in Army than its mean that he was a Federal Government Employee and If he died during service on 19-2-2015 than You Are Entitled For Prime Minister Assistance Package 2015.Search For Assistance Package 2015 And Concern With Your Father Department.

File a Application To Your Father Department Higher Authority Apply For Assistance package 2014 According to Supreme Court Decision.
Attache Following Documents Along with your Application:
2)Office Order Of Assistance Package 2014
3)Assisstance Package 2006,2014 and 2015
4)Islamabad High Court Orders (Single Bench + Intra Court Appeal)
5)Supreme Court Decision dated (8-1-2018 + 6-2-2018)
Send The Copy Of This Application to established Division As well As All Attached Department.
It is the Order of Rem,Means Orders For the All the Peoples Who have same Issue.
If Your department Did not Comply with The Orders of court in rem.
Than you have no option left Except To file A Petition.
