Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued letter on 04-06-2018 in connection with Counting Previous Service & Other Benefits Punjab Educators. Summary is as under:
vii. The judgment date 16.04.2018 has set aside the order dated 03.04.2013 & 16.06.2015 issued by the Worthy Chief Secretary, Punjab on the pretext of declinatory as such the pay protection right is received by the civil servants of the Higher Education & Health Departments to whom same benefit has been allowed but the Learned Tribunal did not considered this fact that higher Education Commission Department withdraw to this effect hence no discrimination.
viii- Further, Govt, of the Punjab has delegated the powers to its departments & autonomous bodies to frame the rules for their smooth & efficient working within the Constitutional limits which could differ / very from department to department according to the nature of work and School Education Department has not framed any rule/policy against the law therefore setting aside the policy / rule without considering this fact would give rise to huge Pandora box of various complexities including promotion, seniority & others benefits and the Learned and the Learned Tribunal without pointing out the illegality or irregularity and without considering the other aspect of the case decided the appeals in favor which is liable to be set aside / turn down.
It is to mention here that Punjab Service Tribunal has already issued its decision regarding counting of previous service and pension benefits to the educators.
Sir me special branch me bps 12 ki job kr raha tha contact par. Ab me bps 9 patwari revenue department join kr chuka hon regular basis par through proper channel. Kya meri pichli service count ho gi?
Previous service agar regular ho jai to count ho jai gi.
dear sir,
if a person moves from university regular service to govt service through proper channel, will his university service be counted for pension. the employee has transferred his pension contribution of university service.
and one question more, what benefits other than gp fund and pension contribution need to be transferred.

Dear Mam! If an employee on probation and join another higher appointment through proper channel, his/her previous service less than one year (ie on probation) can be counted or not. Please also quote rule (if any) in this regard.
