Government of Pakistan, Finance Division has issued Notification on 05-07-2019 in connection with Adhoc Relief Allowance 2019 by Federal Government. Detail is as under:
- This Adhoc Relief Allowance will be admissible with effect from 1st July 2019
- BPS-01 to BPS-16 = @ 10% of the basic pay
- BPS-17 to BPS-20 = @ 05% of the basic pay
- This allowance will be granted on the RUNNING BASIC PAY
- This allowance will also be admissible to the contract employees.
- This ARA 2019 will also be admissible to civilian paid out of Defence Estimates

If an employee promoted from.BPS16 TO 17 in 2020; his ARA 2019 will b reduced to 5% or not? Plz reply..
I think it should not as at the time of promotion just before he was in BPS-16.

what about development contract staff (fixed Pay). Are they eligible for it or not?
I think fixed pay employees are not this allowance as this allowance is on the running basic pay. May be they will be granted another fixed allowance.
Is it applicable on 2017 running or 2019 running ?
Every one mislead the Concept of 2017 pay scales. It is to inform to all the visitors that 10% of the Running Basic Pay of the Pay Scales 2017 ka matlab hay jo pay aaj employees lay rahain hain. 2017 kay scales ki initial ka to kahin zikar nahin hay. Running ka zikar hay aour jo hum running lay rahay hain wo 2017 ki hi hay. Thanks

Will they be continued or they are freezeed?
They will be continued and will also increase on the annual increment.
