Condone of Deficiency Period of Length of Service for Qualifying Family Pension

Government of Sindh, Services, General Administration & Coordination Department has issued order on 18-10-2019 in connection with Condone of Deficiency Period of Length of Service for Qualifying Family Pension. Detail is as under:
With the approval of the competent Authority i.e. Chief Minister, Sindh, Sanction is hereby accorded to condone the deficiency period of two (2) years, seven (7) months and twenty-eight(28) days in the length of service for qualifying his family pension in respect of Late Ghulam Muhammad Korejo, Officer of Ex-PCS (BS-18), Ex-Secretary (RS&EP), Board of Revenue, Sindh, Karachi to bring his service up to a qualifying period of ten (10) years, enabling his bereaved family to avail benefits of Family Pension.

  1. Federal govt orders specify that in cases of death during service, if the service is less than 10 years, even then minimum 10 years service will be taken for benefit of family.

    Are there not similar Sindh govt orders ?

    1. According to these orders, Sindh Govt still on the basis of 10 years minimum service. However in Federal it is even one day service package and pension is granted to the employee if he / she died during service.
