Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Communication has issued Notification on 18-11-2019 in connection with Revised Fine Rates Traffic Violations. Detail is as under:
Revised Fine Rates Traffic Violations NH & MP
In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (4) of section 79 of the National Highways Safety Ordinance, 2000 (XL of 2000), the Federal Government, in consultation with the National Highways and Pakistan Motorway Police, is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in the Twelfth Schedule to the aforesaid Ordinance, namely:-
In the aforesaid Ordinance, in the Twelfth Schedule, for the entries in Part I and Part II, the following shall be substituted, namely. There has been increased the Fine Rates Traffic Violations for the following:
Moving Violations
Parking Violations
Now minimum Challan will be Rs. 500/- for motorcycle etc and maximum amount mentioned in the Notification is 10,000/-. You can read full details of the same at the PDF document attached below:
