Government of Sindh, the Finance Department has issued Notification on 03-06-2020 in connection with Withheld Post Retirement Benefits as Commutation, Gratuity, Encashment of LPR, and GP Fund. The details are as under:

In continuation of this department’s letter of even number dated 29^th May 2020, on the subject cited above.

2. It is situated that due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic in Sindh Province, the Finance Department has decided to withheld post-retirement benefits like Commutation Gratuity, Encashment f L.P.R and GP Fund till the next financial year 2020-2021, vide this department’s letter No.FD/B&A(ACC)MISC/2019-20 dated 23.03.2020.
3. It is clarified that the following claims are allowed to entertain;

(a) Final Payment of G.P. Fund (retirees only).

(b) Monthly Pension of fresh retires.

(c) Restoration of Pension except for arrears.

(d) Arrears of Pay / Pension will be remained withheld till 30^th June 2020.
