Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification No.SO(A-)1-31/2008 dated 10-06-2020 in connection with Promotion Students Class I to VIII in Punjab.

In Pursuance to the approval of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Committee meeting, the students up to class-8 of Public and Private are hereby promoted to the next higher class without annual examination in the wake of the corona Virus Pandemic (Covid-19).

According to the Notification SED has promoted all the students from Class One to Eight of the Government as well as Private Schools.

The case of passing the students to the next classes was pending for long due to the COVID-19 spread in the country. Now the Government of Punjab has finally decided to promote all these students to the next classes.
