Allama IAllama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad has issued a Notification on 19-11-2020 in connection with Postponing AIOU Ongoing Examinations Semester Spring 2020 in AJK. The details of the same are as under:
Postponing AIOU Ongoing Examinations Semester Spring 2020 in AJK
This is with reference to the Date Sheet of BS/B.Ed/M.Ed/MA/M.Sc. Semester Spring 2020 notified vide this office notification # F.1-1/Spring-2020/Conduct/3475, dated 15-10-2020.
The Ministry of Interior Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) vide notification dated 18-11-2020 has decided to implement Lockdown in whole AJ&K from 22-11-2020 to 06-12-2020 in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
It has been decided to postpone the AIOU ongoing examinations of BS/B.Ed/M.Ed/MA/M.Sc Semester Spring 2020 from 22-11-2020 to 06-12-2020 in the whole territory of Azad Jammu & Kashmir only. Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad will issue a new schedule of these postponed exams later on.
The Ongoing Exams in other parts of the country will continue accordingly as per schedule.
The controller of Examinations of AIOU has also tweeted the same on 19th Nov 2020. As per his tweet, the announcement is as under:
“AJK students to note that they have postponed ongoing exams of spring 2020 scheduled from 22-11-20 to 06-12-20. They will announce new dates shortly. This postponement is for AJK territory only. Exam in other parts of the country shall continue as per schedule.”
