Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat Establishment Division has issued a Notification on 06-05-2022 in connection with Revised 6 days Office Timings in Federal Govt Offices. Establishment Division in this regard has issued an OM No. No.6/1/2007-D-2 dated 6th May 2022. Federal Government Offices shall work 6 days a week and shall continue to observe the following office timings unless modified:

Before this prior to the Holy Month of Ranzan, the federal Government Offices used to work 5 days a week. The FG Offices had Saturday and Sunday Off. But now the Government decided for cancellation of Saturday Holiday and to work 6 days a week. Previously the employees had to work till 4 or 5 pm but now the closing hours are till 3 pm daily.
