Government of Pakistan, Finance Division 2022, issued an Office Memorandum on 01-07-2022 in connection with Notification Increase in Pension 2022 Federal. According to this Notification, the pensioners will get an enhancement in Pension @ 15% with effect from 1st July 2022. The details are as under:

Thus the pensioners will get a pension increase @ 15% including Pension Increase April 2022 Federal. The employee who will retire on or after 1st July 2022 will also get this increase in pension.

Previous Increases in Pension Cease to Exit
The following previous increase in pension will cease to exist for the pensioners who will retire on or after 1st July 2022:
2016 Pension Increase: 10% Increase in Pension with effect from 1st July 2016
2017 Pension Increase: 10% Increase in Pension with effect from 1st July 2017
2018 Pension Increase: 10% Increase in Pension with effect from 1st July 2018
2019 Pension Increase: 10% Increase in Pension with effect from 1st July 2019
2021 Pension Increase: 10% Increase in Pension with effect from 1st July 2021
The above increases in pension during various previous years ceased to exist due to the inclusion of Adhoc Relief Allowances of these years into basic pay. Due to the Revision of Basic Pay scales 2022, the pensioners who will retire on or after 01-07-2022, will get more benefits.
The pension is being given since 2010 @ govt increase to the PTCL pensioners who opted VSS in 2008 but no body listen our voice even I wrote a letter to prime minister of Pakistan for necessary action bout no avail. It is worth noting here that we are federal government employees as I served for more than 27 years to govt of Pakistan as I joined T&T department which announced as PTCL .give our voice to concerned end for our ligitimate right.thanks

Nobody listen to PTCL pensioners grievances. There is graet disparity between PTCL Pensioners and others federal department.
