Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Elementary & Secondary Education Department issued a Notification on 11-08-2022 in connection with the Extension of Summer Vacation 2022 till 31st Aug 2022 KPK. Now the KPK School will open on 15-08-2022. The Education Department KPK issued the summer holidays cancellation letter. The details are as under:
Cancellation Extension Summer Vacation 2022 till 31st Aug 2022 KPK
KPK Govt canceled the extension of Summer Holidays 2022. Now the schools will re-open pn 15th Aug 2022. Before In continuation of this Department’s notification of even number dated 20.05.2022 and in light of Chief Minister’s Secretariat letter No.DS(E)/CMS/E&SE/K/2022/6078-81 dated 11-08-2022, the Competent Authority is pleased to extend the summer vacations in Summer Zone up to 31.08.2022 (Wednesday) due to the present intense heatwave.
Cancellation of Extention Summer Holidays
Now the KPK schools will open on 15th Aug 2022. Elementary & Secondary Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhawa issued a Notification on 14-08-2022. According to the latest weather reports, there will be no more heatwaves in the province. The Weather Department issued the updates and hence KPK Education Departments also amended the school opening dates.
Instructions for students and teachers
Consequent to the above, the following instructions are hereby notified for information and strict compliance for all concerned:
Such extension of the summer vacation will only in respect to students attending schools up to Class-10.
Heads of all educational institutions and all staff shall regularly attend their respective institutions during enrollment campaigns in order to lead enrollment campaigns and facilitate students and parents.
Students of Summer Zone up to Class-10 will attend their regular classes w.e.f. 01-09-2022.
This notification shall not be applicable to the winter zone.
Keeping in view the above facts, the department moved a summary for an extension of summer holidays in schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approved the said summary. In consequent to that summary Education Department KPK notified for extension in holidays/vacation.
