In exercise of powers conffeed upon me vide Notification. SOW-I(S&GAD)1-4/2018 (P-III) dated 14.01.2022, issued by Governmnet of the Punjab, Service & General Administration Department (Section Welfare-I), Lahore, I, ABDULLAH KHURRAM NIAZI, DEPUTY COMMISSIONER, SIALKOT do hereby declare Wednesday 9th November, 2022 as Local Holiday on the eve of 145th Birthday of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, within the revenue limits of District Sialkot.
Only Local Level Holiday on 09-11-2022, the DC Sialkot notified. Before this There was Public Holiday in all over Pakistan. All public offices as well as public observed this holiday. But a few years ago Government reduced many public holidays that also included the Holiday on 9th November. This year federal Government issued the Notification of Public Holidays 2022 in Pakistan. This Notification also has not the Holiday of this eve.
