Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a letter on 14-11-2022 in connection with the Grant of Special Allowance @ 25% and 15% to the Employees of Punjab BPS-20. In this letter, the SED requests the Secretary of the Finance Department to approve the said Special Allowance.

Will the Section Officer (Schools) Government of the Punjab, Finance Department, kindly refer to the subject noted above?
I am directed to enclose herewith the copy of “Note for Secretary, School Education” vide Dairy No.4932 dated 20.10.2022 received from Director Public Instruction (EE), Punjab along with all required documents regarding the grant of Special Allowance @ 25% & @ 15% to the employees of Govt. of Punjab (BS-20) as already granted to BS-01 to BS-19.
Finance Department is requested to approve the grant of Special Allowance 25% of 2021 and 15% Special Allowance 2022 Punjab to BS-20 officers of the School Education Department, at the earliest, in the larger public interest.
SA for BPS-01 to BPS-19 Employees of Punjab
The Special Allowance @ 25% (BPS-01 to BPS-19) and 15%, the Finance Department has already allowed the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-19. These employees are already getting these allowances. The employees of BPS-20 of the School Education Department were not availing of this allowance. Now the SED has requested to favor the said allowance to the officers of BPS-20. These officers belong to the School Education Department Punjab.

This is just a letter to Finance Department. The Finance Department will look into the matter and will issue the Notification of Grant of Special Allowance 2021 and 2022 to the Officers of BPS-20 of SED Punjab.
