Notification of Winter Vacation 28th Dec 2022 to 6th Jan 2023 in Non-Formal Educational Institutions has been announced by the Government of Punjab, Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education (Operations Wing). The NFBE issued the Notification for Winter Holidays 2022-23 on 27-12-2022. The summary of the winter vacation in NFEIs 2022-23 in Punjab is as under:

As per the above schedule, the Non-Formal Educational Institutions in Punjab will remain closed for 10 days. The educational activities in these schools will be resumed with effect from Saturday, 7th January 2023.
Winter Holidays in Non-Formal Education Instructions
The weather is getting colder and colder. The temperature falls usually in the following days. The winter vacations started in almost all regions of Pakistan, in the last week. The winter vacations as per schedule for Non-Formal Education Institutions shall start this following week. The Government of Punjab already has issued notifications regarding winter vacations around Punjab for Formal Education Institutions.
Now, the Directorate General of Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education (operations Wing) makes a clear statement about the Winter vacations in Non-Formal Education Institutions. As per the schedule, that the Directorate General of Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education releases, the winter vacations in all Non-Formal Education Institutions shall start on Wednesday, 28th December 2022. The winter vacations in all Non-Formal Education Institutions shall continue till Friday, 6th January 2023.
The Winter vacations in Punjab, in all Formal Education Institutions, have already started on 24th Of December 2022. Which are to be continued till 1st January 2023. The Institutions regarding Formal Education shall reopen on 2nd January 2023. They shall start their work as per the regular schedule. The Non-Formal Education Institutions shall reopen on the 7th of January 2023. They shall again start working regularly as per their usual schedule.
These people just knows how to torture kids and they are not paying attention about some national holidays. No holiday on 9th of November! What do they want to prove that only in 1 day of 9th November the will deliver the full course of the year and an other thing please pay attention to private sectors and universities most of them (university of management and technology) are steel open and students are forced to come.So please pay attention it’s all up to you
AOA this is not a fair statement the Formal education institutions should also be given 2 week vacations well I am in 10th class and we had given our 1st term exams and our vacations started from 25th December because we had a exam on 24th December and also your government already knows how cold the weather is getting. My school has no heating system ok! We study on the top floor of the school. And my school is APS. Please you need to give us one more week of vacation for God’s sake we are also the children of Pakistan we deserve our rights.
