Government of Sindh, College Education Department issued a Notification on 07-04-2023 in connection with Holidays on 12th April 2023 (Wednesday) in Sindh College Edu Department. All Public and Private Colleges in Sindh will remain closed on Wednesday on account of Youm-e-Ali (RA). The details are as under:
Holidays on 12th April 2023 (Wednesday) in Sindh 21st Ramadan Youm e Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (R.A)
Hazrat Ali (R.A), one of the great Caliphs of Islam, embraced Shahadat on the 21st of Ramadan. Every year, Muslims all over the world pay tribute to Hazrat Ali (R.A) on this day. There is a local holiday on this day in some of the regions of Pakistan as well. This year, the Government or Sindh, College Education Department declares the 21st of Ramadan as a holiday in colleges around the province. Here are the details:
Holiday on 12-04-2023 on Youm e Ali (AS)
College Education Department, issues notification dated 07-04-2023 regarding a holiday in connection with Youm-e-Ali, in Sindh. According to the notification, the College Education Department, Sindh decided in a meeting held on 22nd February 2022 to declare the holiday in the Colleges on Youm-e-Ali. Youm-e-Ali will fall on Wednesday, 12th of April 2023. On this day, all the government and private educational institutions which fall under the administrative control of the College Education Department Sindh shall remain closed. “ In pursuance of the decision of the Steering Committee meeting held on 22nd February 2022, all the Public & Private Educational Institutions under the administrative control of the College Education Department shall remain closed on Wednesday, 12th April 2023 on account of Youm-e-Ali (21st Ramzan, 1444).”
