The government of Pakistan has received a loan from the international development association towards the cost of the Punjab Cities program, being implemented through the Punjab Municipal Development Fund company.

Head and Regional Offices Establishment

The program is to strengthen the performance of participating urban local government in urban management and service delivery, under the program, a head office and three regional offices are established in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Khanewal to provide technical support to the municipal committee.
