Notification of Grant of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2023 Balochistan @ 35% & 30% has been issued for the employees of BPS-01 to BPS-22. The employees of Balochistan will get this ARA-2023 with effect from 1st July 2023 on running or current basic pay.

The government of Balochistan presented the budget for the fiscal year 2023-2024 in June 2023. After discussion and getting suggestions from the cabinet meetings. All members approved of providing a 30% to 35% increase of Adhoc Relief Allowance 2023 on basic pay as on 30th June 2023. The amount of allowance the employees will get on the running basic pay of all government contracts or regular or contingent paid staff members.
Provision of ARA 2023 to Civil Servants of Balochistan
Government of Balochistan with a discussion and approval from the finance department Issues a letter in order to provide 30% to 35% ARA allowance to all the civil servants of the Balochistan government.
The GoB pleases to sanction an Adhoc relief allowance 2023 for Government employees. The government allowed a 30% to 35% increase in ARA to the all-Government employees including Contingent Paid Staff. The contract employees against civil posts in basic pay scales will also get this ARA. All employees who got an appointment on standard terms and conditions of the contract appointment will receive this allowance from the first of July 2023 on the basis of their basic pay scales. The finance department approves this increase after checking the availability of the required budget.

Provision of 30% or 35% Adhoc Relief Allowance on Running Basic Pay
In the budget 2023-2024 that the government of Balochistan announced the rate of Adhoc Relief Allowance from 30% to 35%. The rate is on the running basic pairs of all government employees working under the supervision of the bullet Balochistan government.

35% increase for all the government employees working on BPS-17 to BPS-22 and above.

General Conditions for the Admissibility of ARA Allowance 2023
According to the policy of the government of Balochistan, the finance department will follow the following instructions and conditions in order to pay the amount of ARA Allowance.
ARA allowance is not treated as an emolument
The amount ARA announces is not treated as part of amusements for the payments of calculation of pension. not either for the gratuity and recovery of house rent.
Not admissible during posting and deputation tenure
The increased rate of Adhoc Relief Allowance is not admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting and deputation abroad.
Admissibility at the Rate of Working in Pakistan
The amount of Adhoc Relief Allowance is invisible to the employees on their repatriation from posting and deputation abroad. The finance department will pay this allowance at a time when they were serving in Pakistan not posted abroad.
Payment of Adhoc Relief Allowance with Subject to Income Tax
According to the instructions of the government of Balochistan, the finance department will pay the increased amount of this allowed in 2023 subject to income tax.
