Government of Pakistan, Finance Division (Expenditure Wing) issued a Notification on 21-03-2024 in connection with the Disbursement of Advance Pay and Pension on 26-03-2024 Federal due to Easter for the Christian Community. The details are as follows:

Subject Disbursement of Pay and Allowances / Pension for March 2024 in Advance to All Federal Government Servants and Pensioners Belonging to the Christian Community On the Occasion of Easter.
Easter will be celebrated on 31st March 2024 it is. Therefore, it requested that arrangements be made to disburse the salary and pension for March 2024 to the federal Government servants and pensioners belonging to the Christian community on 16 March 2024, as per Rule-217 of federal Treasury Rules (Vol-I).

Now the employees belonging to the Christian Community will get their salary for March 2024 in advance on 26 March 2024. They will get the salary in advance due to the coming EASTER 2024. This action will facilitate the Christian COmmunity. They will do the shopping for Easter in a better way. Punjab, Sindh, KP, GB, and AJK Governments will also issue the same Notification.
Before this Sindh Government issued the Notification of Advance Salary March 2024 due to Holi in the province. Now this Notification is for the Federal Government Christian Community.
