The Director General of Public Relations, Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, invites applications for the following posts against the development schemes “Social & Digital Media Monitoring, Analysis and Response Management” and “Strengthening of Information Department of AJ&K Phase-IV Re-revised.” Applications are welcomed on an open merit basis, with the following academic qualifications and experience for contract appointment and lump-sum salary package.

Social & Digital Media Monitoring, Analysis, and Response Management

01 Social/Digital Media Manager 1 Vacancy Sixteen-year degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university in 2nd division with at least three years of relevant experience in a well-reputed organization.
02 Research Analyst 1 Vacancy Sixteen-year degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university in 2nd division with at least three years of relevant experience in a reputed organization.
03 Studio Engineer 1 Vacancy Sixteen-year degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or 3 years DAE in Electronics Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university, with at least three years of experience in the relevant field.
04 Script/Content Writer 2 Vacancies Sixteen-year degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, International Relations, or Literature from a recognized university in 2nd division with at least three years of relevant experience in a reputed organization.
05 Media Monitoring Officer/Cyber Specialist 2 Vacancies Sixteen-year degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university in 2nd division with at least three years of experience in the relevant field.
06 NLE/Video Grapher/Video Editor 2 Vacancies Intermediate in 2nd division with at least five years of experience in video editing, camera work, live coverage, and drone operations. Expertise in Edius, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro is required.
07 Graphics Designer 2 Vacancies Bachelor in Fine Arts or Graphics Designing with at least 2nd division, or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with one year diploma in Graphics Designing and at least five years of experience. Expertise in Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and other designing tools is required.
08 Vision Mixer 1 Vacancy Fourteen-year degree in any discipline in 2nd division with at least five years of experience in vision mixing in electronic media organization and live coverage management for social/digital media platforms.
09 Drone Operator/Cameraman 2 Vacancies Fourteen-year degree in any discipline with at least 2nd division, with a diploma in Videography and Drone Operations from a recognized institute and five years of experience in the relevant field.
10 Office Boy 2 Vacancies Literate with good health condition. Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.

Strengthening of Information Department of AJ&K Phase-IV, Re-revised

Terms & Conditions

  • The hard copy of the application along with educational certificates, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, and two fresh photographs must reach the address below within 15 days of the first publication in the newspapers.
  • The appointment will be for the period of development schemes on a contract basis and shall not confer any right to claim for continuation or regularization by the appointees.
  • The appointment shall be made by the Appointing Authority on the recommendation of the concerned selection board/committee constituted under relevant rules.
  • The maximum age limit would be as prescribed by the government and calculated as of the closing date of submission of applications.
  • Only applications bearing relevant experience and prescribed qualifications shall be entertained.
  • A confirmed/regular Civil/Government Servant having requisite qualifications and experience can also apply for contract appointment through the proper channel.
  • In case of non-availability of a suitable professional & technical candidate from AJ&K, the condition of State Subject shall be deemed abolished.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
  • Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
  • Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
