Government of Gilgit Baltistan Finance Department issued a Notification on 24-07-2025 in connection with Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) 2025 GB. The employees of GB will get a DRA-2025 @ 30% as on the pay on 30th June 2025. The details are as follows:

Subject: Grant of Disparity Reduction Allowance 2025

 

The Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan has been pleased to sanction with effect from 01.07.2025 grant of Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) @ 30% of Basic Pay as on 30.06.2022 to the officers/officials in BPS-1 to 21 who are already drawing DRA on the existing terms and conditions provided under Finance Department Gilgit-Baltistan Notification bearing No.Fin.Reg-3(01)/2021, dated 5^th July, 2021, and OM bearing No.Fin-3(01)/2022-23, dated 22^nd July, 2022.

 

For those employees who have been appointed on or after 01.07.2022, this allowance will be admissible based on the relevant initial Basic Pay Scale of 2017.
