Reality of Opening Punjab Schools on 1st September 2025 after Summer Vacation
A fake notification is viral on social media. According to this notification, the Punjab Government has extended the summer vacation/holidays until 31st August 2025, and Schools will reopen on 1st September 2025. This is not a reality. This is a fake Notification.
The reality is that schools and educational institutions in Punjab will open as per the previously announced schedule. There is no change in the schedule, and SED Punjab has made no extension to the summer holidays 2025 in Punjab.

Clarification issued by
The School Education Department, Punjab, has issued a clarification on 07-08-2025 that the Notification on social media for extension holidays and opening schools on 1st Sep 2025 is fake.
