The Deputy Commission of Lahore issued the Notification on 12-08-2025 in connection with a Local Holiday on 15-Aug-2025 in Lahore. There will be a local holiday on 15 August 2025 (Friday).

Notification No: No.SOW-I(S&GAD)2-2/2025:
It is hereby notified to the general public that a local holiday in Lahore District shall be observed on 15th August, 2025 (Friday) (20th Safar-ul-Muzaffar 1447 A.H), on account of “982nd Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh (RA)”.
This holiday will be observed only at the District level and its subordinate offices located in Lahore District.
This notification, however, does not apply to the officers of the Punjab Civil Secretariat, its
attached Departments, and Regional Officers.

- All Administrative Secretaries, Government of the Punjab.
- The Commissioner, Lahore Division, Lahore.
- The Secretary / Chief Administrator, Auqaf & Religious Affairs Department, w/r to his letter No.SOM-5(2) Auqaf/2025 02-08-2025.
- All Heads of attached Departments.
- The Deputy Commissioner, Lahore, with requested to inform all concerned of the above orders.
- The Director General Public Relations, Punjab, Lahore.
- The Director, Radio Pakistan, Lahore.
- The General Manager, Pakistan Television Corporation, Lahore, requests that wide publicity be given to the above contents.
