I am sharing the Notification of Holiday on 13 Aug 2025 in Rawalpindi / Islamabad twin cities. The Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi and District Majestriate Islamabad Capital Territory has issued the Notifications. The details are as follows:

 

Local Holiday on 13 Aug 2025 in Rawalpindi / Islamabad

 

As per the Notification, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me vide Notification No. SOW-I(S&GAD)1-4-2018(Pt-IV), dated 26-01-2023, issued by the Services and General Administration Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore I, Dr. Hassan Waqar Sheema, Deputy Commissioner, Rawalpindi, declares a local holiday in Rawalpindi District on 13-08-2025. However, all emergency dealing departments/institutions/authorities will remain operational.

A copy is forwarded for information and necessary action to the following offices: –

 

1. The Chief Secretary, Punjab, Lahore.
2. The Secretary to the Chief Minister, Government of the Punjab, Lahore.
3. The Commissioner, Rawalpindi Division, Rawalpindi.
4. The Regional Police Officer, Rawalpindi.
5. The City Police Officer, Rawalpindi.
6. All the Assistant Commissioners in Rawalpindi District for ensuring implementation in their respective Tehsils.
7. All concerned Head of Departments in Rawalpindi.
8. PS to Deputy Commissioner, Rawalpindi.
