The Education Minister of Punjab announced on 13-08-2025 in connection with the Opening Schools in Punjab from 18 Aug 2025. All schools in Punjab (Private and Government) will resume their classes from class 9^th and upwards with effect from 18^th September 2025. The details are as follows:

Opening Schools in Punjab from 18 Aug 2025

 

According to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, schools for classes 9th and above will open with effect from August 18, 2025. The classes from one to 8^th will reopen after summer vacation 2025 from 1^st September 2025. The statement of the Education Minister of Punjab is as follows:

 

“After Consultation With All Stakeholders, Grade 9th/10th & Intermediate, O Level/A Level Classes will be allowed from August 18th in public and private institutions. Grade 1-8 to Resume classes from the 1st of September 2025.”

• Class One to Class 8^th = 1^st September 2025
