Government of the Punjab Directorate General of Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mall Punjab, 41-Empress Road, Lahore, issued a Notification on 19-08-2025 in connection with applying for Disability Certificate from Any District of Punjab 2025. The details are as follows:
Apply for Disability Certificate from Any District of Punjab 2025
Notification No. DGSW-PCRDP-D.C SOP/2022- dated 19 Aug 2025
In continuation of this office Notification bearing No. DGSW-PCRDP-D.C SOP/2022- 4624-61, dated 9th March, 2023. The competent authority is hereby pleased to amend the clauses 7 & 8 of section 2 of the notification as under:-
“Any person who is a resident of Punjab may apply for disability certificate from any district and appear before the board of the selected district.”

This is a good decision of the Government of the Punjab. The people of one district are not restricted to their own district. It is generally seems that in connection with business or jobs, they move to other districts. In this way, they will benefit from getting the disability certificate (if any) in the district if their current residence. Good Decision indeed.
