Government of Sindh, Finance Department issued a Notification No. FD(SR-III)3-2962/2025 on 18-08-2025 in connection with the Reduction Factor by Age of Voluntary Retirement (Sindh Pensioners). The details are as follows:

 

Reduction Factor by Age of Voluntary Retirement (Sindh Pensioners)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, the Government of Sindh is pleased to make the following amendment in the West Pakistan Civil Services Pension Rules, 1963, with immediate effect:-

 

Amendmens

 

In Chapter III, in rule 3.5, for clause (i), the following shall be substituted:

 

1. opts to retire after twenty-five years of qualifying service or attaining the age of fifty-five years, whichever is later; provided that the reduction factor indicated in the table below shall be applicable in case of voluntary retirement.

The Federal Government Finance Division has already issued the Notification of Reduction Factor Pre-Mature Retirement Penalities for its employees. But their reduction factor rates per year are 3% with a maximum of 20%.
