I am sharing the details of the Recall from Leave of An Employee. The Government has given the specific rules for the employee who is already on leave and the department recall him on duty. The details are as follows:

As per ESTA CODE,

 

  • If a civil servant is recalled to duty compulsorily with the personal approval of the head of his office from leave of any kind that he is spending away from his headquarters, he may be granted a single return fare plus daily allowance as admissible on tour from the station where he is spending his leave to the place where he is required to report for duty.
  • If the government recalls the civil servant to duty at headquarters and cancels his remaining leave, it allows the fare for one way journey only.
  • If the civil servant chooses to return from leave optionally, he receives no concession

Explanation of TA/DA if Recall to Duty

 

As per the above discussion, there are three conditions to get TA/DA for the employee, which are as follows:

No. 1: If the employee is on leave and the department calls him on duty for a specific period/days, and after performing such duty, the employee goes back on leave. The employee will get the Daily as well as the two way fare.

No. 2: If the department holds the employee for the remaining period of leave, he will get Daily and only one way fare.

No. 3: If the return from leave is optional, then the employee will not get any TA/DA.
