As per the news, the Salaried Persons Paid the Most Tax in 1st quarter of the current financial year, Rather Than Retailers, Wholesalers, and Exporters (News). The employees/workers paid nearly double the tax as compared to wholesalers, retailers, and exporters. The details are as follows:

 

The Salaried Persons Paid the Most Tax in the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2025, Rather Than Retailers, Wholesalers, and Exporters

 

Employees pay the most tax compared to all other categories of taxpayers. As per the Daily Jang dated 21 Oct 2025, the salaried persons paid the most tax and nearly twice that of the other categories. The employees’ tax is automatically deducted from their salaries every month.
