Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department (Establishment Wing) issued a letter on 29-10-2025 in connection with the Creation of 38 Posts of Senior Superintendents (Bs-18) On The Analogy of Senior Private Secretary (Bs-18) and Additional Private Secretary (Bs-19). The details are as follows:

Request for the Creation of 38 Posts of Senior Superintendents (Bs-18) On The Analogy of Senior Private Secretary (Bs-18) And Additional Private Secretary (Bs-19)

 

As per the letter, I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to enclose herewith an application of Mr. Zafar Khan Yousafzai, Chairman Employees Coordination Council, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that there are approximately 217 posts of Superintendents (BS-17) in the Civil Secretariat for promotion of approximately 419 Assistants (BS-16), out of which most of Superintendents retire from service in the same scale, due to meagre chances of promotion to higher scale, i.e. PMS BS-17, under 12% reserved quota (94 posts).

Therefore, he is requesting for establishment of 38 posts of Senior Superintendents (BS-18) so the employees could avail chances of promotion.

In view, the request of the Chairman Coordination Council, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is submitted for consideration and placement before the SNE committee for the establishment of 38 posts of Senior Superintendents (BS-18) in the Establishment Department, please.
