The Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad, issued a Notification on 18-12-2025 in connection with the winter vacation 2025 for Federal Schools and Colleges in Islamabad. The Federal Directorate of Education, Government of Pakistan, issued a notification for all Islamabad Model Schools and Colleges. According to the notification, winter vacations will be observed from 26th December 2025 to 3rd January 2026, while academic activities will resume from 5th January 2026. The details of the notification are as follows:

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to inform that Winter Vacation shall be observed in all educational institutions under the Federal Directorate of Education from 26th December, 2025, to 3rd January, 2026. Academic activities shall resume on 5th January, 2026 (Monday).

Furthermore, the second Saturday, i.e., 10th January 2026, shall be observed as a working day for administrative, teaching, and non-teaching staff for the execution of priority tasks communicated in this Directorate’s letter of the same number dated 5th December 2025.
