The Punjab Higher Education Department has issued the latest Punjab Winter Vacations Notification, announcing winter holidays for all public and private colleges across Punjab from December 23, 2025, to January 12, 2026. Meanwhile, BS 4-Year Programs and examinations will continue as per schedule.

As per the Notification:
It is hereby notified that all higher educational institutions, both in the public and private sectors, under the jurisdiction of the Higher Education Department (HED), Punjab, shall remain closed for winter vacations w.e.f. 23-12-2025 (Tuesday) to 12-01-2026 (Monday).
All colleges (public and private) shall re-open on Tuesday, 13th January, 2026, resuming a full/normal week for all classes.
BS 4-Year Programs, however, shall continue to function. Furthermore, all examinations shall be held according to the notified schedules of the Boards and Universities.
