The Punjab Govt Forest and Wildlife Department has issued a Notification on 22-01-2026 in connection with the Notification Re-designation of Various Posts of BPS-09 to BPS-18 in the Forest Department Punjab. The details are as follows:
Re-designation of Various Posts of BPS-09 to BPS-18 in the Forest Department Punjab

In pursuance of Section 51-A of the Forest (Amendment) Act, 2025, notified bythe Provincial Assembly of the Punjab vide Gazette Notification No. PAP/Legis-2(88)/2025/641 dated 18.12.2025 and subsequent abolition/creation of posts by the Finance Department vide letter No. (RE)2-761/26-FT dated 22.01.2026, Re-designated / new nomenclature of the following posts in Forestry and Wildlife Department is hereby notified with immediate effect:

All officers/officials concerned are hereby directed to relinquish the charge of the posts about the old nomenclature today, i.e., 22.01.202,6 and accordingly assume the charge of the posts as per the new nomenclature forthwith. Henceforth, all official communication shall be made in accordance with the new nomenclature as stated above.
