Government of the Punjab Finance Department issued a Notification on 02-03-2026 in connection with Advance Salary for the Month of March 2026 due to Eid-ul-Fitr. The details are as follows:
The Government of Pakistan, Accountant General Punjab issued the latest notification on 02 March, 2026, in connection with Early Salary Pension Processing for the month of March 2026 on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr. The competent authority has directed all concerned departments to process DDO change forms within the given deadline to ensure timely credit of salaries and pensions.

The Government of the Punjab, Finance Department, has also issued a notification for Advance Salary for March 2026 due to Eid al-Fitr.

- It is notified that, in view of the upcoming auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the competent authority has directed that Payroll/Pension Roll for the month of March will be executed earlier than the tentative dates; therefore, all concerned are hereby instructed to accept and process DDO Change Forms up to 06-03-2026. It is mandatory that all change forms, including cases of new hiring and appointments, must be processed, cleared, and entered into the SAP system on or before 08-03-2026 positively. To facilitate this process, the Main Office will remain open on 07-03-2026 (Saturday) and 08-03-2026 (Sunday).
- In view of the foregoing, to ensure the timely credit of salaries/pensions, the regular payroll/Pension roll for the month of March 2026 is scheduled to be executed on 09-03-2026. You are, therefore, directed to inform all payroll sections to strictly adhere to the said timeline.
- Furthermore, DAO-C is directed to circulate the said timelines of the payroll/pension execution to all DAOs.
