Punjab Government School Education Department has announced the School Vacation 2026 in Punjab Schools till 31 March 2026. The Punjab Government and Private Schools/Colleges and Universities will remain closed from 10th March 2026 to 31st March 2026. The details are as follows:

According to the Punjab Government, all Exams/Assessments will continue as per the schedule.
Salient Features for Employees and Students /Work From Home Policy

A 50% immediate reduction has been made in the petrol and diesel allowance for government officers’ vehicles.

Schools, colleges, and universities in Punjab will remain closed from 10 March to 31 March.

Examinations will be held according to the scheduled timetable.

A “Work From Home” policy has been implemented in government offices; only essential staff will attend the office.

Schools and educational institutions will be allowed to conduct online classes.

Under the Work From Home policy, only the movement of additional support staff is being restricted; office work will not be suspended.
