The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan Finance Department issued the latest notification on 9th March, 2026, in connection with the March Salary Advance Notification for all employees, including contingent paid staff, in Gilgit-Baltistan. According to the notification, pay and allowances for March 2026 will be disbursed in advance on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 2026.

Attention is invited to Note-4 of rule-217 of the Federal Treasury Rule, Volume-I, the Finance Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, is pleased to sanction pay and allowances for March, 2026, in Advance to be paid on 16th March, 2026 ordinary payable on 1st April, 2026 in favour of Government Servants throughout Gilgit-Baltistan on the occasion of “Eid-ul-Fitr”.
