Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority Lahore issued the latest Notification on 31-03-2026 regarding Deduction Conveyance Allowance for Non-Working Days in connection with fuel conservation and austerity measures. The details of the notification are shown below:
Deduction Conveyance Allowance for Non-Working Days
Mandatory Deduction of Conveyance Allowance And Submission of Compliance Report.
As per the Notification, in pursuance of the Government of the Punjab, S&GAD (I&C Wing) Notification No. SO(I&C)-15-13/2026 dated March 10, 2026, regarding fuel conservation and austerity measures, the following directions are hereby issued for immediate and strict compliance by all offices under your administrative control:
Deduction CA
All Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) shall ensure proportionate deduction of Conveyance Allowance for non-working days, consequent upon the implementation of the Four-Day Workweek (Monday to Thursday) and the designated off-days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), strictly in accordance with the applicable rules and instructions. No deviation in this regard shall be permitted.
Submission of Compliance Report
All concerned offices are directed to furnish a compliance report regarding the above deductions in both hard and soft copies. The report must reach this office within seven (07) days from the date of issuance of this letter.
It is further directed that any negligence or failure in compliance shall be viewed seriously, and the concerned officer(s) shall be held personally responsible for any lapse.
