Federal, Punjab, and Sindh governments have announced the following packages for the public, keeping in view the hikes in petroleum prices.
Federal/Islamabad
Public Transport is free for one month, including Metro Bus Service, Islamabad Electric Bus Service, etc.
Punjab
- Free VEEDA Bus Service
- Metro Bus Service Free
- Free Orange Line Train
- Green Bus Service Free
Sindh
- Rs. 2000/- will be transferred online to the motorcyclists. The motorcycles must have their own name.
- Free motorcycle transfer
- Free all kinds of public transport
- Payment to Trucks and others Registered in Sindh

Islamabad
Following the recent fuel price increase, the federal government has announced that public transport services in Islamabad will remain free for 30 days starting from April 4, 2026. This relief is expected to cover major services, including the Metro Bus Service and the Islamabad Electric Bus Service. Punjab Government

Sindh Government
