Financial Assistance to the Family of a Civil Servant Who Dies While in Service-Sindh Govt Notification 2005

Sindh Govt Finance Department Notification No. FD (SR-III) 3/ 84-2004 dated 13^th June 2005 was issued in connection with the Financial Assistance to the Family of a Civil Servant who dies during the service.

In order to provide financial relief to the families of civil servants who expire during service Administrative Departments in absence of any criteria recommend ex-gratia grants in certain cases, leaving an impression of disparity. Moreover only a few families have been allowed financial assistance. Need has therefore been felt to provide an umbrella cover to all bereaved families to meet their financial problems that crop up after the demise of the only earning member. According to bring adhoc dispensation within the framework of a prescribed policy, the competent authority has been pleased to approve criteria of the said Financial Assistance as under:
