Directorate of Staff Development Education Department Govt of Punjab has also announced the District Teacher Educators (DTEs). Applications for these teachers jobs are invited from the in-service school teachers working in BPS-09 to BPS-16. These vacancies are available in all the districts of the province of Punjab.

According to the Daily Nai Baat, the Education Department Punjab has again decided to announce the educators jobs in Punjab Province. This process will be started since 25^th October 2013 and the candidates will have to take the written test for the same. They will be given training for 4 weeks and then they will be posted to their concerned schools. All the selected educators will take their responsibilities since 1^st January 2014.

Educators jobs in Punjab in 2013 made many turns during the last few months. This story is not confined to this year but it also remained big news for the jobless during the last year 2012. Some times it was told that these jobs will be announced after the completion of the academic session 2012-13 and some times it was told that Educators Jobs in Punjab will be announced after summer vacation 2013 but all went in vain.  

According to the daily express dated 07-09-2013, Punjab Govt has imposed ban on the recruitment of new educators till further orders. Recently the Educators Recruitment Policy has been issued and there have been expectations that the new recruitment will be made in September 2013 and at the eleventh hour this news came to view that the ban has been imposed on the appointments of Educators.
