The Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat, Cabinet Division, issued a Notification on 02-02-2026 in connection with the Public Holiday on 5th February 2026 (Thursday). The Federal Government announced this holiday in observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day. The details are as follows:
Public Holiday on 5th February 2026 (Thursday)
According to the Notification, as per the Notification Public Holidays 2026 Pakistan vide No. 10-1/2025-Min-II dated 19 January 2026, the Federal Govt will observe 5th Feb 2026 (Thursday) as a public holiday throughout the country on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. One minute’s silence shall be observed at 10:00 am on the day across the country in remembrance of the Kashmir Martyrs.
Kahmir Solidarity Day Holiday Provinces
The Gazetted Notification of these holidays has already been issued by the Cabinet Division. The provinces may also issue separate notifications for this public holiday.
The Federal Govt Cabinet Division has shared this Notification to all concerned Ministries, Divisions and Departments.
