According to the Finance Division (Regulation Wing), Islamabad U.O No. F.3 (2) R-2/2000/424 dated 26-05-2010, Usual Increment has been allowed to the employees who are at their maximum stage of Pay Scales 1994.
The Secretary Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued Notification No. PA/ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Bills/2013/2848 dated 22-01-2013 regarding Civil Servant (Amendment) Act 2013 in connection with Pension and Gratuity. This bill was passed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly on 15th January 2013 and assented to by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 17th January 2013.
Finance Division Regulation Wing Islamabad has already issued a Notification dated 2nd November 2005 in connection with Usual Increment in the year of retirement to the pensioners retired prior to 1998. These pensioners were not granted usual increment even they had completed 6 months in their present scale at that time.
The Lahore High Court, Lahore on 17-11-2011 & and Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on 15-12-2011 have already given decision in favour of the pensioners to restore 50% pension after 15 years of their retirement.
