The Finance Minister presented the Budget in the National Assembly on 12 June 2024. He announced a 25% salary increase for BPS-01 to BPS-16 Employees and a 22% increase in salary for BPS-17 to BPS-22 Government employees.an increase in salary for Government employees. This salary increase will be effective from 1st July 2024. The government increased pension @ 15% for all pensioners. The employees will also get the following allowances increase:
