Revised / Amendments in Punjab Civil Services Pension Rules 2023

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a Notification on 19-06-2023 in connection with Amendments in Punjab Civil Services Pension Rules 2023. These new rules of pension in Punjab are related to anticipatory monthly pension @ 65% of Basic Pay as per LPC. The details are as under:

Salary Increase News Punjab and Balochistan Employees before Budget Announcement

I am sharing here the latest Salary Increase News Punjab and Balochistan Employees before Budget Announcement as on 19 June 2023. The Government of Punjab and the Government of Balochistan will announce the budget 2023 today 19th July,2023. As per the Federal government, there was a 35% increase in salaries of government employees and a 17.5% increase in pension. All provincial government employees and pensioners are expecting to have the same increase in salaries and pension. I have already shared the chart of salary increase in Budget 2023-24 Federal Government. By keeping in view the financial problems and inflation rate government of Punjab is going to announce some good news for government servants. All in-service and retired government servants will get relief from this budget.

Clarification of Fake News of Pension and Gratuity on Initial Basic Pay

There are a number of Fake News of Pension on Initial Basic Pay. There is no reality that the employees in the future will get a pension in initial or starting basic pay. The Federal or Punjab Government did not issue any such Notification. Only Punjab Government issued the Notification of Leave Encashment only on the basis of Initial basic pay of a particular basic pay scale.
