Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has issued Notification No. SO (SE-IV) 2-34/2009 (Transfer) dated 25th July 2014 in connection with Lifting of Ban on Transfer Posting in Punjab in 2014.
According to this Notification, the competent authority has been pleased to approve lifting of ban on posting/transfer of teaching staff with effect from 1st August 2014. It will remain uplifted upto 30th August 2014.
The respective transferring authorities shall issue transfer orders according to the transfer policy 2013 issued vide No. SO (SE-IV) 2-34/2009 (Transfer) dated 17th April 2013and as amended dated 24th July 2014. Following time lines shall be observed for issuance of transfer orders:
|Receipt of transfer application||1st August 2014 to 15th Aug 2014|
|Scrutiny of applications||August 16 to August 19|
|Display of merit list and placement on notice board and website||20th August|
|Receipt of objections||August 21 to Aug 22|
|Removal of objections||August 23 to Aug 25|
|Issuance of transfer orders and placement on notice board and website||August 26 to Aug 27|
|Filing of appeals||August 28 to Aug 29|
Following guidelines shall be observed:
- All the transfers of teaching staff shall be made under Transfer Policy 2013, as amended, and
- All the transferring authorities are requested to observe Punjab Traveling Allowance Rules 1976 and they also mention in the transfer orders that TA/DA is admissible or not.
